In 2021, Nike has reissued the Nike Air Max 90 Bacon, the iconic collaboration with Dave Ortiz and DQM from 2004. Now the infamous (and teased) colorway returns on the Nike Dunk. Inspired by a package of bacon, Dave Ortiz created the perfect color blocking for the Air Max 90 by applying shades of red, brown and pink to the silhouette. Now, Nike brings the look to the Dunk Low with a red suede overlay over a Sail base, pink tones on the Swoosh and tongue, and brown on the heel and sole. The laces are cream colored. This Dunk Low Bacon seems to be an unofficial Nike project and an official collaboration with DQM seems unlikely.
