New Balance and Concepts renew their Boston-focused collaboration with a 10th anniversary edition of a still-hot model. Only cash is truth: The MADE in USA 998 “C-Notes only” is, like its muse, easy to recognize at first glance. First released in September 2013, the Concepts x New Balance 998 “C-Note” paid homage to the hundred dollar bill. This release came as New Balance celebrated the 20th anniversary of the 998 model and presented various collaborations with stores and brands throughout the year.

The 998's sleek and angular shape showcases a classic mesh upper complemented by suede overlays, toe guard and heel counter. The high-quality construction features a color palette inspired by the design of the hundred dollar bill. The familiar green is accentuated by shades of off-white, light blue and metallic copper.

When will the new New Balance sneaker be available?

A few hours ago the first shop confirmed the drop of the New Balance 998 Sea Salt concept. The NB 998 Sea Salt will arrive in collaboration with Concepts on October 17, 2023.
