AURALEE, the Japanese brand known for its minimalist aesthetic, has unveiled two new designs of the New Balance Warped Runner (WRPD) during its SS24 runway show at Paris Fashion Week. However, the long-awaited and latest project from AURALEE and New Balance is finally hitting the (virtual) shelves. The new WRPD silhouette first dropped in August 2023 and is now being celebrated further with the finishing touches from AURALEE. Following the collaboration with the New Balance 1906R last year, the two brands are continuing their collaboration.

The two AURALEE Runners in the Phantom and Bone colorways come with a high-quality material composition of nubuck, suede and mesh in the upper, while the characteristic moulded sole with FuelCell cushioning returns. Both colorways focus on a monochrome look that underlines the sneaker's sleek design. With no visible co-branding on the outside of the shoe, the two brands have instead opted to display the branding on the insole and the special box. Very minimalist, just like AURALEE.
