Designed by Bruce Kilgore, the Air Force 1 debuted in 1982 as a basketball shoe. This iconic silhouette made history as the first basketball shoe to feature revolutionary Nike Air cushioning on the court. More than 40 years later, the popular AF1 has undergone numerous redesigns and revisions, and the latest variant is designed specifically for outdoor enthusiasts.

The Nike Air Force 1 Wild is an exclusive model for those who like to hike and always want to appear stylish. The classic silhouette has been equipped with a new sole that is ideal for outdoor adventures. The Swoosh also takes a similar approach, with the traditional leather upper replaced by a more robust combination of nubuck leather and ballistic mesh. Additional cushioning on the inner heel, reinforced seams in the forefoot area and a double lacing system ensure a secure and stable fit. This model will be available in five different color variants: Black, Mahogany, Tan, Green and Phantom. Interestingly, the Air Force 1 Wild is exclusively a women's shoe model and is only offered in women's sizes - for reasons only Nike knows. The Black colourway comes, as the name suggests, in all-black.

When can you buy the Air Force 1 Wild Black?

Unfortunately, we currently have no information about the release of the Air Force 1 Wild. We estimate that the silhouette will definitely be released this year.
