As 343 Industries' first foray into the modern live gaming industry, Halo Infinite has restored the iconic franchise to its original single-player format while catering to the community's ever-growing appetite for free-to-play matchmaking games like Fortnite and Apex Legends.

To celebrate the game's one-year anniversary in November, adidas, in partnership with XBOX, released plans for an NMD V3 commemorating Master Chief's turbulent journey through the main story campaign, which is considered one of the best of the six-game series.

The silhouette picks up on the different shades of blue that make up Master Chief's AI - Cortana - and features a bright turquoise base with the titular baby blue accents, found on the semi-translucent sole, mudguard and various trefoil logos. To contrast with the vibrant color spectrum, the three stripes in the midfoot, heel counter, pull tabs, laces and sockliner are finished in gunmetal grey, while the underlying BOOST midsole shines in bright white. Die-hard fans of the series will notice inspired adornments such as the Capture The Flag and Stronghold game icons outfitting the heel clip, Fret and Lumu AI insignia, and UNSC branding gracing the medial side to finish.
