Nike Basketball created Sabrina Elaine Ionescu's first signature basketball shoe, the Nike Sabrina 1 Ionic. It was designed for players who want to accelerate and cut fast on both sides of the field. The shoe will cost around 130.00 euros.
Inspired by Ionescu's Romanian heritage, the Nike Sabrina 1 features a special pattern on the forefoot that pays homage to traditional Romanian art and architecture. It features full-length Nike React cushioning combined with a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot. The message “Anyone, Anywhere” is embedded in the midsole, referencing Ionescu's unparalleled fighting spirit and her belief that dreamers can come from anywhere and make it. The shoe also features a midfoot strap system with lockdown cables to secure the foot. This version of the Sabrina 1 comes in Photon Dust, Anthracite, Fuchsia Dream, Light Smoke Grey and Light Bone. There will also be various apparel parts for the shoe, such as t-shirts, shorts, hoodies and socks.
