At the same time, the New England institution has acknowledged its presence in Flimby, Cumbria, UK with proposals such as the new NB991 in grey and navy blue. Premium pigskin suede plays its traditional role on the upper, sitting atop breathable mesh and supple leather overlays.

The above components are predominantly grey tones, although dark blue accents can be found on the tongue, forefoot and under the collar.
