The New Balance 2002R Refined Future collection, better known as the Protection Pack, sold out instantly when it was launched in August 2021. Premium pig suede and a breathable mesh base make a perfect match. Laces, branding at the top of the tongue, heel counters and most of the midsole depart from their surroundings in favor of a slightly yellowed hue that gives the 2002R another vintage aesthetic. However, the NERGY cushioning offers modern comfort.
