Maison Margiela's early '90s numeric logo and trompe-l'oeil house code meets Reebok's Club C tennis shoe, where the C stands for Champion. The well-known design now surprises with a trompe-l'oeil effect. A scanned image of Reebok's original Club C has been printed on the flat, one-piece leather upper.

This creates a 2D optical illusion that mimics every seam, curve and shading of the original 3D surface. The sneaker also has laces, a textile lining and a durable rubber outsole.
