Now pictures have been released for AM 1 Hangul Day, which celebrates the Korean alphabet. This holiday occurs on October 9th in South Korea and January 15th in North Korea and commemorates the invention and proclamation of Hangul in the 15th century. The reason for this will be the shared history of Nike and South Korea, as part of the production took place in South Korea in the 1980s and 1990s. To celebrate all of this, Nike has now announced a new Air Max 1.
To pay tribute, the Nike Air Max 1 presents a color palette of Sail, Khaki, Coconut Milk and Light Orewood Brown. The design features a Sail mesh upper finished with brown suede overlays on the mudguards, heels and other areas. Hangul characters decorate the insoles, heels and hangtag. The Coconut Milk midsole adds a touch of vintage to the overall look.
When will the new Air Max 1 Hangul Day be available for retail?
An official release date for the Air Max 1 Hangul Day is still a long time coming. One thing is certain: the Nike Air Max will arrive in 2023, but when exactly is not yet clear.
