Deconstructive is currently extremely popular - it works really well for some brands and projects, but not so much for others. Nevertheless, Vans has now also jumped on the bandwagon and has just released two colorways of the Sk8-Hi and Slip-On in exactly this style as part of the 'Cap LX' pack (unfortunately not in Germany). The pack was sold out in Canada and the States within a very short time. This style move on the part of Vans is certainly not surprising, considering that even long before the release of the Nike x Off White "The Ten" collaboration, there were rumors that Virgil Abloh wanted to team up with Vans. So far, however, no such collaboration has materialized, but the impact Virgil left behind with his designs seems to have had an effect.

Away from outside influences, Vans itself shines with an outstanding implementation of the decontructive trend. New images now reveal that, in addition to the two simple colorways that have already been released - namely Black and Marshmellow - the iconic checkerboard print will soon be available in tonal blue or pastel pink/yellow, hopefully also for Germany.

All in all, we really like the Inside Out Pack from Vans and the details are nothing to sneeze at. Incidentally, the release is scheduled for the Vans Fall/Winter 2018 range. So we'll have to be patient a little longer.
