After finding out what the sneaker trends were in 2019, we're now looking into the magic ball and telling you what will be trendy in 2020.

Next year, we will once again have the opportunity to unpack one or two classics, but we can also prepare ourselves for strong, new releases. Here are the sneaker trends for 2020.

Nike SB Dunk

The Dunks were already back in 2019 and everyone knew with the launch of the Parra collabo: SB's are back! The silhouette, which was once introduced to the market as a basketball sneaker, was also suitable as a skateboarding shoe thanks to slight modifications and was subsequently adapted for this purpose. The Dunk is one of Nike's icons and is one of the sneaker trends of 2020 in all its versions.

Nike Air Max 90

Another model, that will be back in fashion in 2020 is the Nike Air Max 90. The retro runner will be 30 years old next year and Nike will be celebrating this in style. The "Viotech" kicked things off and we can't wait to see what new styles and classics Nike has up its sleeve for 2020.

All White

All White sneakers will never go out of fashion and are rightly one of our sneaker trends for 2020. Flex or not, some days you just want to slip into your sneakers that you know will always look good and fit every occasion. For moments like these, there are all-white sneakers that are also incredibly easy to care for when combined with a smooth leather upper. One example is the Air Force 1, which you can see in the following picture.

adidas YEEZY

Yeezy, Yeezy what's good? Kanye West's sneakers will continue to be released in large numbers in the coming year and will continue to have a major impact on the market. In 2020, we will see the launch of new models such as the BSKTL, which is already hugely hyped. We wouldn't be surprised if the silhouette kicked off a new sneaker trend, as the YEEZY 500 has already done. Existing styles such as the Yeezy Boost 350 or Yeezy Boost 700 will also continue to sell out. A few more models, such as the Yeezy Boost 380 are also set to be launched!

Nike Air Max 95

Last but not least: The Nike Air Max 95. This silhouette is also celebrating its 25th birthday next year. As a result, we are hoping for many new colorways and are also hoping for the return of classics. The design of the Air Max 95 was inspired by different parts of the human body. Its aesthetic is as retro as it is futuristic and the sneaker has been one of the evergreens of the Swoosh since its release. However, it remains to be seen whether the Air Max 95 will be able to topple the Air Max 97 from its throne as the most popular Air Max. The 97 is still a force to be reckoned with!

So far, the 2020 sneaker trends are expected to come from Nike, although the other brands are never to be underestimated and often have unexpected grenades up their sleeves. According to our colleagues at adidas, white leather shoes are set to dominate the sneaker game in 2020. And the guys from Herzogenaurach are damn good at that - we know that from the past.

What will be particularly hot next year and how, where and what will ultimately be released, you can still find out here.
