The Nike Air Max 1 Wabisabi arrives on Air Max Day

It is now March. What that means? Air Max Day is just around the corner! The time has come on the 26th and we still don't know what Nike has planned for it. Slowly but surely we are seeing more and more models for the holiday. We have first on-feet's from the Nike Air Max 1 Wabisabi. All information about the shoe can be found here.

The wabisabi was first performed, seemingly on the quiet, by dancer and choreographer Rie Hata . The Air Max 1 has been picking up steam again in the last few months and Nike is proffering more and more gold pieces to us. We already really like the colourway. We're looking forward to Air Max Day and are pretty excited to see what's to come.

The Wabisabi comes with two different color schemes on the left and right pairs. They come with the same colors, but arranged differently. The boats are mainly about different shades of brown, cream and olive. The rough seams of all elements are the highlight. They stand out in white just like the mini embroidery from the Swoosh on the toe box. On the heel we find red darning seams that give the impression that the shoes were hastily repaired by grandma. Overall great Air Max 1 that we would love to have on our feet.
