The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 City Series Pack

The Basement and Nike are teaming up once again!

The UK-based sneaker community The Basement last released a special version of the Dunk low together with Nike in 2017. Two years later, the collaboration continues. As a result, we are now presented with The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 "City Series" Pack.

The Air Max 90 Pack will consist of a total of three different versions and colorways. Each sneaker is dedicated to one of The Basement's key cities - Glasgow, Manchester and London. But let's take a look at the pairs separately:

The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 "City Pack" - Glasgow
Release: October 05, 2019

The Air Max 90 "Glasgow" features a dark grey, water-repellent upper. The tongue in the signal color orange creates a successful break with regard to the colorway and, together with the reflective details (Swoosh and heel cap), builds a bridge to the city. Overall, the version is reminiscent of the traffic cone of the equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington.

The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 "City Pack" - Manchester
Release: October 12

The second version of the City Pack focuses on the color combination black/neon yellow and that through and through. The black upper is made from durable and water-repellent CORDURA polyamide fabric. The contrast is created by bright volt details and the Jewel Swoosh.

Release: October 19, 2019

The last release of The Basement x Nike Air Max 90 "City Pack" will be the "London". The beige colorway with grey details appears incredibly simple at first glance. However, the "London" actually offers the most spectacular feature, as the three interchangeable Swooshes that the shoe contains provide plenty of variety.
