Gel Lyte III x The North Face "The Apex" - Custom by Sole Panda & OTS Shoeshop

Normally, I'm not a big fan of custom sneakers. Especially not shoes that are simply painted. I buy shoes to wear them, not to customize them. Every now and then, however, there are creations that I like and that I think are definitely worth mentioning, one of which is the Gel Lyte III The Apex from OTS Shoeshop and Sole Panda. The black Gel Lyte III from the Pure Pack provided the basis for the shoe, with only the sole actually remaining from the shoe. The entire upper has been rebuilt and provided with some nice materials and details. For example, parts of an original The North Face jacket were used for the upper. The hard-to-miss TNF logo can be found on the heel of the shoe and the pictures you see here were taken by my colleague Michael from Mind13.
