Onitsuka Tiger Shaw Runner "Mesh Pack" - latest pickup

The Suede and Mesh Pack of the Shaw Runner was released a few weeks ago. As the name suggests, the only difference between the packs is the upper material. While you are spoilt for choice between three color combinations in the Suede Pack, there are four different ones in the Mesh Pack, and I personally liked the black Shaw Runner from the Mesh Pack right from the start. At first I wasn't quite sure whether I wouldn't prefer one of the "Suede" models, but due to the already very pleasant temperatures and the color variations on offer, I decided on the black Shaw Runner! On the one hand, there's a certain resemblance to another successful Asics model, and on the other hand, I just love the lightweight 90's performance look. Besides, I have so few black sneakers that I simply had to have another pair, and when I first saw the Shaw Runner, I immediately noticed the following: It weighs almost nothing! Of course it does - the upper is made almost entirely of mesh and textile and the midsole is made of extremely lightweight SoLyte material. In combination with the well-known GEL cushioning from ASICS, the Shaw Runner is extremely comfortable to wear, with a slim cut and a good silhouette. The upper of the Shaw Runner is spiced up by the contrasting Tiger Stripes. The same color (mint!!!) can also be found on the lining, the tongue and the heel logo, and the Shaw Runner is particularly good on the foot, where it really convinces all along the line. Just a slight toe push turns the Shaw Runner into a really strong piece of equipment! Maybe you'll have the chance to try them out yourself in one of the local sneaker stores, otherwise you can also get them at 43einhalb, Overkill or Animal Tracks.Personally, I'm really excited to see how Onitsuka Tiger manages to establish itself on the "runner market". I think that the "first throw" has already worked out quite well and I'm curious to see what else we can expect from the Tigers from Kōbe in the future!
