Nike Sacai Waffle LD SS20 - Teaser

The year 2019 was dominated by the collaboration between sacai and Nike. No collaboration has divided the scene more than the extraordinary versions of the Waffle LD and Blazer, and yet it is one of the releases of the year.

No wonder then that designer Chitose Abe, since leaving CDG, has scored his first major success for sacai and has also established the collaboration with Nike for the coming season.

Pictures of a brand new colorway have now surfaced, which is rumored to be released Spring/Summer 2020. The collaboration is thus entering a new round and promises the familiar look with completely new materials and colorways.

The images of the first version of the Nike Sacai Waffle LD SS20 show a simple monotone black colorway, which only differs in the color tones through the use of different materials. The usual mesh upper is replaced by a nylon upper, which, paired with suede and smooth leather elements and the massive white midsole, creates a well-rounded look.

All in all, we are very much looking forward to the continuation of the Nike x sacai range and are eagerly awaiting the first official information about the collaboration.
