Nike Air Zoom Spiridon - Release notes

The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon first appeared on the scene in 1997. In my opinion, the first retro came in 2003 ( correct me if I'm wrong ) and now, around 13 years later, Nike is sending one of its most popular models back onto the international sneaker stage.I was already quite worried about the re-release of the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon beforehand. The Icarus really gave me the runaround this year and completely destroyed my remaining hope for reasonably detailed Nike retros. The Presto and the Sock Dart are ( so far ;) ) really the only retros that you can be seen wearing on the street as a "real sneakerhead" ( how I hate that word ). #realtalkBut back to the topic. The Spiridon is back and is even coming directly to the Nikelab in three different colorways. When? Later this week, in 3 days, 18 hours and about 30 minutes to be precise. At least according to the countdown in the Nikelab, and we can trust that 99%.99% of the time, the shape and silhouette discussion surrounding the Spiridon is still open. And to be honest, I'm really glad, because there shouldn't even be a discussion after the pictures from my colleague Michael ( aka Mind13 ). In my opinion, the shape is pretty acceptable and some store owners have already told me that the new Spiridon has turned out really well. So Nike can still do it.....also nice to see again! :)What's your opinion on the new Spiridon? How do you like the new colorways? For me, the OG is still the clear favorite, although I don't think the white version is soooooo bad either. Let's see how it turns out with the Nikelab. I don't think it will be super hard to get a pair, all three CW's can be found now at Nike in the online shop and will be available for free from July 16, 2016. If more stores are added, I'll provide you with an overview in my release calendar. But I'll get back to you. :D
