This Saturday is the day: The models of our chosen winners from the "Nike on Air" contest will be released and we had the opportunity to photograph our two favorite models from the drop and present you first the Nike Air Max 98 NYC by Gabriel Serrano. Tomorrow we'll follow up with the 97 Air Max by Cash Ru, which in our eyes is also the strongest model from the drop.The release is currently only confirmed in the Nike online store and there are no signs that other stores such as Overkill or Solebox will follow suit.what does that mean for us? With the models in demand, it will certainly be damn hard for everyone to get their desired size. The Nike Air Max 98 NYC by Gabriel Serrano offers a real spectacle on the upper. The broken leather in combination with the red-orange gradient really makes a statement - but it's certainly only for people who like colorful feet anyway. I also think that the South American influences of "Gabby" come across really well on the shoe. On the inside of the shoe you'll find coordinates, but I haven't checked them yet. However, it seems likely that they are the coordinates of New York. What else could it be? :)The model is rounded off with a compass patch on the tongue, replacement laces in different colors, printed insoles and a blue air unit. All in all, an absolutely successful concept, which is probably the main reason why the Nike Air Max 98 NYC by Gabriel Serrano is one of our favorites of all six models.The release of the Air Max 98 will take place this Saturday. The model will be sold at a retail price of around 180 euros and the pictures from this shoot were taken by my colleague Daniel and myself. Do you like the "workshop vibe" in the pictures? I do! ?
