Nike Air Huarache "Bronzine" - latest pickup

In my last post, I introduced you to the Nike Flyknit Racer, which was also my last pickup in 2014. This time in focus: the shoe that first made it into my home in the new year. What else has happened so far and how many more have been added is not so important now. #guilty

I fell in love with the first pictures of the Nike Air Huarache in "Bronzine" when I saw them on Highsnobiety and SUPPA. Barely a week later, it was finally available online at SUPPA and I was able to get my hands on it. New year, resolutions kept, new bots, happy Silvi, it's my very first pair of Huaraches so far and I'm very excited. Unfortunately, I have to deduct a point for the workmanship, as there were still glue residues in some places, but the color and material mix, as well as comfort definitely make up for it! It's like a little trip back in time to 1991 when you look down at your feet. If you like the look of the 90s, you'll love this shoe! Since I've had a Huarache on my foot before, I knew that it would run very small. The strap at the heel is the culprit! The shoe itself also has a slightly narrower cut. You should therefore make sure you buy one size larger. I normally wear a 38 myself and had to go for a 39. I can say with certainty that a 38.5 would not have been enough. So don't be shy about the size, it will fit like a glove even in a size larger, and I particularly like the neoprene. Depending on the light, the shoes sometimes look gold, sometimes more ochre with an olive touch. To prevent the leather part from getting dirty, I took precautions and sprayed my Huarache with Crep Protect before wearing them. I've already run it twice and so far it's still very clean! :) Simply beautiful, super comfortable and a flexible shoe that adapts very well to the foot thanks to the built-in inner shoe.
