New Balance 1906D Protection Pack Fuzzy Grey

At the beginning of September we already gave you the good news that the New Balance Protection Pack series will be expanded. After we were initially able to provide you with leaks of two color variants of the model, a third colorway is now being added with the New Balance 1906D Protection Pack Fuzzy Grey. We owe the Refined Future Pack, better known as the Protection Pack, to the Chinese designer Yue Wu, who has been part of the Boston brand's team for over five years and who moved to the USA for his master's degree at the Pensole Footwear Design Academy. The artist was already a big New Balance fan, especially the 574 and 580 he was particularly fond of.

For his first design, Wu chose the 2002R silhouette, which had previously exploded through his collaboration with Salehe Bembury. The artist found the inspiration for the special look in his own past. In an interview he states that when he was young there was nothing he liked more than untouched and brand new sneakers. He wished nothing more than for the shoes to remain as clean as the moment he took them out of the box. With the new design, he doesn't want to create a collector's item, but a sneaker for everyday use. The design aims to encourage people to wear the shoe without reservations.

Now the hour of the 1906 silhouette seems to have come. After some hits were already landed with the Thisisneverthat New Balance 1906R and the recently released New Balance 1906R Vintage Green, Red and Grey, another highlight follows with the New Balance 1906D Protection Pack Fuzzy Grey.

If you look at the pictures by @iamricosuav, you can immediately see the similarity to the previous models. The New Balance's upper is similar in design to the 2002R silhouette. The sneaker is also characterized by a material change from mesh and suede, which is kept in the same color on this model. The look is rounded off by a vintage midsole that runs out onto your gray outsole. We assume that the new colorway will attract a similarly large following as the models before it.

RELEASE OF THE NEW BALANCE 1906D PROTECTION PACK FUZZY GREY

Unfortunately there is no release date for the New Balance 1906D Protection Pack Fuzzy Grey yet. As soon as we find out more information, we will of course pass it on to you immediately.
