Mita x ASICS GLV 'Trico' - latest pickup

What an extraordinary surprise to have another post from me and it just happens to be a Latest Pickup post haha. Latest pickup = as good as always Silvi :DSince I can't keep up with all my shoes and you can easily expect 5 more until I strike again, I try not to get completely lost in the chaos and show everything in a sensible order.today's shoe is my beloved Mita x ASICS GLV 'Trico', which I scooped up at Afew 4 weeks ago. Damn! Time is running :D I always realize that when I'm writing the post about the sneaker, but I was allowed to be present for two days during the check-in times and in front of the Afew Store. As always, I had a very entertaining time. The unfortunate thing about this release, however, was that the Jordan Retro OG IV 'White Cement' and two Diadora colorways also came out that day. So I had to wait a good 2.5 hours before I could finally buy the shoe. Yes, I was tired. Yes, it was exhausting. But yes, I was also very happy and pleased when I finally got it. Anyone who didn't hibernate all year last year knows that the 25th anniversary of the Gel Lyte III silhouette was celebrated and that every month a sneaker store or a well-known person was allowed to design a colorway for the ASICS Gel Lyte III in collaboration with ASICS. Therefore, some of you will have heard or read the name Mita in connection with the anniversary and will have already seen the exact colors on the GL3 silhouette. Even the insole looks the same, if not identical, so why not do it again on a Gel Lyte 5, Mita or ASICS probably thought. Some might think "oh how boring", others like me "yeah, cool, I actually like it better somehow"! :D So I didn't think twice and bought the grenade. My first GL5, but certainly not the last!
