So the self-lacing Nike Mag has become a reality. Even if it won't be available to the masses, the technology certainly works, and since last night we also know that the next release of the Nike Mag will be available to buy at auction. As with the first release, all proceeds will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson Foundation. A nice thing, especially when you consider that the last auction raised several million US dollars. Last night, the letter from Tinker to Michael J. Fox first appeared, clearly describing what will happen to the Nike Mag in the coming months. This was followed shortly after by a video of Michael J. Fox putting on the Nike Mag for the first time. Later, the actor from the "Back to the Future" series was a guest on talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, where he once again presented the function of the Power Laces, and all in all, it's a shame that we didn't get to enjoy the self-lacing Nike Mags. Nevertheless, the whole fuss yesterday was great fun. Besides, the decision to continue donating the money is the only sensible one.
