HAL x ASICSTIGER GEL-MAI Submariner - Release info

The ASICSTIGER GEL-MAI currently seems to be very popular for upcoming collaborations. After Patta, the Australian sneaker store Highs and Lows has now teamed up with ASICSTIGER to take on the Gel-Mai.
As in 2015, HAL remains true to the military theme and this time focused on the navy with the concept for the shoe. The GEL-MAI has an understated design and looks almost camouflaged. The material mix of the GEL-MAI SUBMARINER results in a high-quality texture on the upper. Premium leather and suede were used for the upper and complemented by neoprene and micro ripstop. In keeping with the theme, the colorway was kept in a nautical navy and grey-blue. The details of the sneaker also pick up on the theme: The Morse code for HAL is printed on the tape of the tongue and the image of a stormy sea can be seen on the insoles.
