No release is more expected in the first half of 2020 than this one Air Jordan 1 in collaboration with Dior Homme ! Social media in particular is currently full of release information, leaks and rumours, so we are taking today's post as an opportunity to summarize all the data known so far and to present you with new pictures of the Dior Air Jordan 1 Low.

It is now undisputedly known that the project of the two brands does not only include the Air Jordan 1 High . In fact, a Dior x Air Jordan 1 Low will also join the range. However, the theme and colorway of both silhouettes remain the same.

This is how Dior immortalizes itself on the classic basketball court using the iconic "Dior Grey" in combination with a soft cream tone. The popular Dior Monogram can be found all over the Swoosh!

The collaboration is also immortalized on the tongue patch with a polarizing "Dior Air" lettering. In contrast to its "big brother", the Dior Air Jordan 1 Low does not have a Jordan Wing embossing on the side panel.

Numbers of the Dior Air Jordan 1 Low

If you look at the upcoming quantities of both silhouettes, you will realize once again that we are talking about a collaboration that is bursting with exclusivity! Not a shoe for the general public, that's for sure! This has recently been made clear once again by the very high (not yet confirmed) retail price! However, it should not be forgotten that we are talking about Dior here - a high fashion brand that usually serves a different clientele than Jordan disciples anyway! Nevertheless, the last few years have clearly demonstrated that high fashion works extremely well with the right amount of influence from sports and streetwear brands. Dior jumps on this successful train and will prove its ability this year! Here we also refer to our article on the collaboration between Dior and the streetwear label Stussy.

But let's get back to the probable quantities in detail:

The Dior Air Jordan 1 Low will be significantly more limited compared to the high-top. Before we name numbers, it should be said that the respective number of pieces was not chosen at random. The high-top iteration is said to be available 8,500x - a homage to the introduction of the Jordan 1 in 1985! While only 4,700 Dior Air Jordan 1 Low are set to be sold. The latter number honors the introduction of Christian Dior's New Look in 1947.

As we already mentioned, both variants of the Dior Air Jordan 1 are scheduled to be launched in April 2020 and will be sold exclusively in Dior stores worldwide!
