Gold Standard Basics & Awake NY x Converse One Star Pro - Latest Pick Up

On October 12, the new Awake NY x Converse collection arrived, including the One Star Pro sneaker in three colorways. @christopher bought the One Star in light blue and photographed it for you. He also wore the new Gold Standard collection from Converse. The new Essentials line that will get you through the winter perfectly. Five years ago, Angelo Baque, the mastermind behind Awake NY, announced that he would be collaborating with Converse. Now, in 2023, the time has finally come. The four-part collection dropped in October. Including an One Star Pro, which dropped in light blue, black and beige. Plus a longsleeve, a hoodie and a T-shirt in two colors each.

Looks-like-the-AWAKE ONE STAR

The three Awake One Star Pro sneakers come in powder blue, black and beige suede. In fact, these exact colors have already been seen on Instagram in 2018. A large Awake NY embroidery is the highlight on the outside of the shoe. The look is rounded off with a shiny rubber sole in "Egret" and the classic branding on the heel. The One Star Pro comes with an upgrade in the sole, namely with the CONS rubber sole, which is optimized for skateboarding and is supposed to be super comfortable.

The GOLD STANDARD COLLECTION

In addition to the Awake x Converse collab, the brand also recently introduced Converse its own unisex essentials line, the Gold Standard collection. It includes basics, mostly in the form of T-shirts, hoodies and jogging bottoms in three colors: beige, black and grey. The pieces each come with a minimalist embroidered Converse logo. The pieces are slightly oversized and super comfortable. On top of the standard collection, Converse also collaborates with stores worldwide. Three pieces have already been produced with the Voo Store from Berlin and the Parisian store Starcow. The pieces are robust and therefore durable. We totally celebrate the 100% cotton collection.

@christopher wears the black shirt and the standard loose-fit sweatpants. To add a splash of color to the outfit, he opted for the light blue One Star Pro. We really like the fit.
