Asics Gel Lyte V Brazil - latest pickup

The time has come tonight. Asics is ringing in the World Cup countdown and sending the Asics Gel Lyte V and the Asics Gel Epirus into the race with the Brazil Pack. I received my Gel Lyte V yesterday from Animal Tracks and I have to say that I'm really excited about them. I already wrote in my post about the Cove that the Gel Lyte V is becoming one of my favorite silhouettes. I think I now have four or five pairs and I really like wearing them all. Especially the OG Colorway is one of my favorites! The Gel Lyte V Brazil is a shoe that convinces above all with its beautiful colors. I think the theme, which is based on the World Cup host country Brazil, has been implemented really well. The juicy green harmonizes really well with the yellow-blue lining on the inner sock, as well as with the contrasting Asics logos on the tongue and heel.the upper of the Gel Lyte V consists of a shiny nylon in combination with suede overlays. The shiny nylon is really strong and is often used by Asics. I really like it and that's probably one of the main reasons why Asics is one of my favorite brands. by the way, my personal opinion is that the Gel Lyte V Brazil easily puts the "fiegschen" Cove in its pocket. when I compare the two shoes, it is of course noticeable that the Cove uses significantly higher quality materials than the Brazil. On the other hand, there is nothing to criticize about the workmanship of the Brazil. As mentioned above, the Brazil scores points with me personally because of the nylon on the toebox and the interplay of the different colors. The Brazil is a true "general release" from Asics and a damn "powerful" shoe. By the way, I wear a size US12 in the Gel Lyte V, just like the Gel Lyte III. A US11.5 is enough for the Asics Gel Saga. They always fit a bit tight at first, but that usually subsides after one or two days. I would have liked to have had a look at it, because somehow I haven't really looked at this model yet...
