ASICS Gel Lyte III Waterproof - latest pickup

Last week, I received one of the two ASICS Gel Lyte IIIs from the Waterproof Pack .

The Waterproof Pack consists of three sneakers in total, with the Gel Lyte III being my favorite right from the start. I'm actually a big fan of the ASICS Gel Saga, but somehow the two Gel Lyte IIIs in the pack appealed to me more.
Unfortunately, I haven't liked the Saga that much in the past, so I've been switching to other ASICS silhouettes a lot lately. Speaking of other silhouettes, I just remembered that I need to get myself a Gel Sight ...I mustn't forget that, because I haven't even had them in my hands yet! :)

To be honest, the Gel Lyte III from the Waterproof Pack surprised me a little, because I hadn't really thought about the material beforehand. Waterproof...yes ok, always welcome. But it remains to be seen whether it delivers what it promises, because so far I've stayed dry with these things and I honestly hope that it stays that way. :) Nevertheless, I have to say that the material feels really sturdy and it actually looks like it protects against wetness and moisture.

By the way, I found the "Fresh Salmon" colorway particularly exciting. This is my first pair in orange and somehow they look really fresh on my feet. You could perhaps add the mint green laces that come with them, but at the moment I'm pretty happy with the ones I have.

For me personally, this Gel Lyte III is definitely one of the better ones of recent times. There's been a hell of a lot in the last few months, but everything is just right here. Material, colorway....and it also cuts a damn fine figure on the foot. I'm more than satisfied!
