Because anyone who has been in the game for a while knows that you have to have an adidas sneaker from the ZX series at home. Sure, @christopher already has a few colorways at home, but it was time for a new one. With the Gucci x adidas collection, the ZX8000 was once again cast in a new light.

The adidas ZX8000 has seen various retro releases and collabos over the decades, but there was more attention from a small circle of sneaker enthusiasts. But who knows: after all the hype surrounding oldschool silhouettes from adidas, could the ZX8000 make a comeback in the mainstream?
