adidas Ultra Boost Glow In The Dark

adidas has released quite a few good Ultra Boost models in recent months. Starting with the Multicolor, the All White through to the Uncaged models with white, black and red soles. Most recently, a red Uncaged Ultra Boost was released, which, contrary to the GR's, was convincing with three stripes on the side (!!!) and of course only went to family & friends of the adidas family. Another interesting pack that released this morning is the new Olympic Medals Pack in the colors, gold, silver and bronze. Silver and gold are my personal favorites!

However, the Ultra Boost silhouette is still missing a gimmick! An upper with the popular Glow In The Dark effect. Stella McCartney has already proven in the past that she can create pretty appealing sneaker models. Now she is launching another collection on the market, which will also include a GITD Ultra Boost.

The GITD look is not found on the sole of the new Ultra Boost, however, but on the upper material. In the dark, neon green threads shimmer merrily in the upper of the Ultra Boost.

Personally, I'm not really a fan of this GITD. I don't have anything against it, but it just doesn't fit on some shoes. The last 750 Yeezy Boost is the classic example where you could have done without the look. However, I quite like the adidas Ultra Boost, especially because it fits the silhouette.

Unfortunately, I can't offer you a release date at the moment, but I'll let you know as soon as I have any news on the subject.
