adidas Tubular Runner - latest pickup

The adidas Tubular Runner found its way to us long before Christmas. My girlfriend liked the Tubular immediately, but I wasn't quite sure what to make of the model at first. For lovers of typical running silhouettes, a shoe like this is really something else and, to be honest, I had to "make friends" with the shoe first.The most striking feature of the Tubular Runner is, of course, the tire-inspired outsole, which we last saw on the Y-3 models by designer Y. Yamamoto models. Lovers of the Tubular's 90s silhouette are sure to complain about the naming, which I personally find quite understandable. The "new" Tubular Runner is a completely different shoe and has virtually nothing in common with the model from the 90s. Personally, it doesn't bother me either, after all it's just a name. Nothing more or less... The sockliner of the Tubular Runner is made of neoprene and has welded overlays in the toe area. The heel cage is made of leather and its design is based on the ZX700. In this relatively mild winter, the shoe is definitely sufficient. I've worn it a lot in the last few weeks and my feet have always been warm and dry. I also think that the relatively high sole is another reason for my dry feet in addition to the upper, and I went down half a size and wear a US11 in the Tubular. Despite initial "problems" with the model, I think the adidas Tubular Runner is actually quite cool. I understand that the Tubular is such a "love-hate" shoe, i.e. a shoe that you either celebrate or find totally shitty. But that's also logical, the design is totally polarizing and is definitely an absolute eye-catcher. For me too, the Tubular Runner is a nice change from my shoe cabinet, which is dominated by "real runners", and definitely a piece that I will wear more often. if you browse a bit, you're sure to find a discount code or two for the adidas online shop on the net.
