adidas Originals APS - Release notes

The APS (Anti Pronation System) was one of the developments in running in 1984. With the adidas APS, runners had the opportunity to fine-tune the spring cushioning system. The APS system was the first customized, infinitely adjustable cushioning in a running shoe at the time and could be adjusted manually and in real time depending on body weight or ground conditions using a small key inserted into the back of the heel. This summer, adidas Originals is launching the APS in the original colorway, as well as in a reversed "Nighthawk" version that maintains the retro aesthetic.APS will be available at select retailers starting May 1.
