On tour in Cologne with the NMD City Sock and sizetenplease

Last weekend, I was out and about in Cologne with my buddy Massimo (aka sizetenplease) and his girlfriend. The occasion was the release of the new adidas NMD_CS2, of which we wanted to take a few cool pictures of the grey colorway together.

With the new adidas NMD_CS2, adidas provides us with another strong NMD release for this month. The City Sock Gum Pack, which is still based on the first version of the silhouette, already caused quite a stir in the scene at the end of last month. With the new colorways in grey, black and beige, adidas will also score big with the revised silhouette and outshine the releases of its competitors.

Massimo, his girlfriend and I started our joint NMD tour at the Mediapark in Cologne. The Mediapark is really suitable for taking appealing pictures there, as it offers a lot of space and great architecture. We then moved on through Cologne's city center and explored all kinds of subway stations, parking garages and even some impressive new buildings. This resulted in some really good pictures, which I will be presenting to you today and over the next few days on my blog and the associated social media channels.

Even if the hype surrounding the NMD seems to be dying down a little in your eyes, there's no doubt in my mind that the City Sock will continue to be an integral part of my sneaker rotation in the future. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure that we can expect a lot in the future in terms of NMD. The Datamosh Pack from SNS was the best example of this. The release of all three colorways begins on Friday night at 00:00. adidas will release the new NMD models as usual on Saturday at 10:00.

For me personally, the City Sock is and always has been the top class NMD model. I loved the model from the very beginning and am still a big fan of this no-frills silhouette today. For me, the City Sock is one of the models in my collection that I can simply wear every day and with every outfit. I just like to switch up the colorways depending on the occasion.
