With the new adidas EQT Bask ADV, a completely new silhouette from the EQT franchise was launched this week. For the first drop, adidas has decided to start with the colorways Core Black, Navy, Grey and All White. We present the black and grey colorways in this article.The basis for the EQT Bask ADV is provided by the B-Ball style of the Equipment series from 1993. To ensure that the model can also meet today's demands in terms of design and aesthetics, the shoe has been provided with multi-layered materials. To reinforce the vintage look, adidas has chosen a striking midsole, which is also accentuated by the typical EQT 3-Stripes.The upper of the EQT Bask ADV is made of knitted mesh, which is finished with synthetic suede overlays on the sides. The tongue area is a little more sophisticated, as it features the. EQT logo is emblazoned on a beautiful patch made of pig nubuck leather.

There is also a lot to report on the technical side of the adidas EQT Bask ADV. The shoe is characterized above all by its wide fit and the stabilizing elements in the forefoot area. The very wide fit in particular immediately caught my eye during the shoot of the two colorways. The EQT Bask ADV is actually very roomy and I don't see any problem with going down half a size.

Furthermore, I would like to mention that I was initially very critical of the EQT Bask ADV. I actually prefer the so-called "dad shoes" or "chunky sneakers" at the moment, but I'm still very cautious when it comes to basketball silhouettes. The EQT Bask ADV, a classic mid-top, appealed to me at the latest after editing my pictures. In retrospect, I'm actually a bit annoyed because I think I would have really liked the white colorway. But it's actually only available for women again. Too bad!
