After adidas announced the so-called Sneaker Exchange, the "evolution" of last year's Consortium World Tour, last week, it is now also known who is making the start: adidas is having two different sneaker stores work together on two silhouettes that will be released on a monthly basis, with the guys from Colette in Paris experimenting with the adidas Campus 80 and adidas EQT Support 93 silhouettes in collaboration with Californian store UNDEFEATED. First of all, something about the Campus 80. The shoe comes in a white upper, which is adorned with blue laces and a heel element in the same color. High-quality leather was used for the materials. The heel tab is also made of fine hair. To give the whole thing its own stamp, the two stores were of course named in the branding of the silhouette. I think the whole thing is pretty solid, but unfortunately the implementation doesn't meet my expectations of the project. It's a shame, but I'm sure one or two people will like the shoe more than I do!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlUqSfqb4UADer EQT Support is a little quieter around the corner. The upper was kept in dark blue and black tones. The two stores immortalize their names in the tongue area and also on the insole. In contrast to many other projects from the recent past with the adidas EQT, the two stores rely on tried and tested sole elements in their collaboration. The TORSION system was used here, certainly not as comfortable as Boost, but still pure nostalgia for me! Thumbs up for that! They tried to reflect the differences between the fashion capitals of Paris and Los Angeles. Paris is considered to be rather elegant and classic, represented by Campus 80, while Los Angeles is meant to be more rugged and rough.

Just like last year's Consortium Tour, the retailers who worked on the silhouettes will also release them a little earlier. The two shoes will be available exclusively at Colette and UNDEFEATED on January 19, before they will be available at other selected retailers a week later.I personally still think the idea of the Sneaker Exchange is great and look forward to many more contributions. Unfortunately, I personally still lacked a bit of an element of surprise here, as I wasn't really blown away by the two implementations. But they are certainly solid. It also increases the anticipation for more ;)....What do you think of the two contributions to the adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange? As always, please share your opinion in the comments!
