Di'orr Greenwood's love for skateboarding goes far beyond the sport itself. Their love has become a vehicle for their personal expression as a Native American. She designs custom boards. Each of her decks a physical tribute to her Navajo roots. And now, thanks to Nike SB, Greenwood can take her art to an entirely new medium: the Nike SB Dunk High.

THIS IS WHAT THE SNEAKER LOOKS LIKE

Greenwood's version of the Dunk High features a vibrant color palette with a mix of turquoise blue and orange tones on the side panels. This collaboration differs from the standard SB Dunk models with a decon-inspired design with an exposed foam tongue and a slimmer ankle collar. Notable additions include the eye-catching multi-colored accents on the tongue and heel tab, as well as her name adorning the tongue tags. As a tribute to their roots, the insoles depict the desert landscape of the Dinétah Homelands. Greenwood's homeland is geographically located in Arizona, with the Dinétah Homelands spanning northwestern New Mexico, southwestern Colorado, southeastern Utah, and northeastern Arizona. Both the white cutouts on the toebox and the embroidery on the black Swoosh are reminiscent of the stars and the Little Dipper. Very cool design in our opinion.

Unfortunately, we don't know exactly when the Di'orr Greenwood Nike SB Dunk High will drop yet. According to some media reports, it is scheduled to drop in spring 2024.
