Travis Scott Mac Attack - first pictures from Miami

You may remember, about two years ago, Travis Scott and LeBron James wore the Nike Mac Attack OG . Since then, we and some other media have been speculating as to when the silhouette will be back on the (virtual) shelves and our feet. But obviously we're going to get more than the OG. Last night (May 6, 2023) Travis was spotted back in Mac Attacks at a gig in Miami. But not in the OG look, but with its signature inverted swoosh branding. So we can pretty much look forward to a collaboration. In this article you will find all information about the Travis Scott Mac Attack.

The Mac Attack is actually a tennis shoe that first appeared in 1984. The sneaker was developed by Nike for tennis player John McEnroe, who ruled the sport in the 80s. For about two years now it has been said that the silhouette should come back. And we all know that when a classic gets a revival, there are also collabs, see Jordan 2 Off-White , Jordan 2 Union , etc. Above all, the collab colourways usually come before the inline release. So we're assuming the Travis Scott version will hit shelves before the OG release. The Social Status x Nike Mac Attack collab was only recently announced and should be coming out in May.

THIS IS WHAT THE SNEAKER LOOKS LIKE

The design of Travis' Mac Attack is actually similar to that of the OG. The upper comes in a mix of smooth leather and mesh. Most of the elements are kept in a light gray and the toe box, the Swoosh and the overlays on the heel and ankle are in black. The highlight of this design is clearly the inverted Travis Swoosh. That may not be enough effort for some, but we think it's pretty nice. The silhouette is awesome and will surely be celebrated by many others as well. If you only want to stand out minimally, the Travis Scott Mac Attack is a good choice. If you can get hold of the sneaker at all, we can't estimate that yet.
