The adidas Samba is a sneaker veteran. Because the silhouette came onto the market in 1950, back then as an indoor shoe. A full 73 years later, one of our favorite adidas models is making a mega comeback. Possibly also because many celebrities have adopted the shoe again. For example ASAP Rocky, Hailey Bieber and above all: Bella Hadid. But the stars and starlets aren't the only ones celebrating the silhouette. The Samba is a shoe steeped in history, with many further developments. A few years ago, adidas brought the shoe onto the (virtual) shelves in a vegan version. Our beloved boss @christopher recently bought an adidas Samba Vegan and photographed the silhouette. All information about the shoe and how @christopher wears it can be found here in the article.

We've always been fans of adidas classics. This also includes other models such as the Gazelle or the Handball Spezial . But the Samba is THE OG for us. But we also have to admit that we no longer had the silhouette on the screen, or that other models came to the fore. But our love for shoes was always there. So we are super happy that stars like Bella Hadid or creative people like Wales Bonner and Jason Dill have made the silhouette big again. But we also want to keep in mind that the silhouette has always been there and is more than just a celebrity accessory.

THE ADIDAS SAMBA
IS ACTUALLY A FOOTBALL SHOE

The shoe is and always has been one of adidas' signature sneakers. In 1950, the silhouette came onto the market as an indoor soccer shoe and was certainly worn by grandpas and dads back then. In the 80s and early 90s the adidas Samba was omnipresent. For 73 years it has been rocked in schoolyards, at table football, at indoor tournaments, at concerts and in football stadiums. The Samba was (and is) a working-class shoe. And it has always been a sign of good taste.

TIMELESS AND TASTY

And the best thing about it: the model not only looks great and is relatively cheap, the Samba is comfortable. The silhouette is slim and makes a nice foot. The design has always been timeless and tasteful. No matter whether in the OG colors white and black or in more colorful designs. And: with adidas' further development, the shoe can also be worn without any problems if you want to do without real leather. Because the adidas Samba Vegan comes with an upper made of synthetic leather and does not contain any parts of animal origin. Otherwise it stays true to the original.

HOW CHRISTOPHER STYLES THE ADIDAS SAMBA VEGAN

@christopher has opted for muted tones. The brown trousers with a 7/8 cut are from YMC. He also wears a light Fucking Awesome Knit and an olive-colored Enemy Earth Fleece. The outfit is of course rounded off with the adidas Samba Vegan in Cloud White. Check out the pictures below. If you now also fancy the shoe, there is good news. The silhouette is currently online at adidas! Here you can find the adidas Samba Vegan:
