A while ago we introduced you to the Jordan Fall 2022 collection. At that time there were only mock-ups from zsneakerheadz . But they already gave us an idea that the collection is pretty retro-heavy. Which of course is great. The further we progress in the year, the more correct pictures we get of the sneakers. Now we have the first pictures of the Nike Air Jordan 6 Georgetown. All information about the shoe can be found here.
Michael Jordan went to the University of North Carolina. Then why are there Georgetown colourways every now and then? We tell you. In Jordan's freshman year (1982) with the UNC Tar Heels team, he won the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship with the team. That's because he hit the crucial goal just before the end of the game in the final against the Georgetown Hoyas. That's why Nike still celebrates the Georgetown colors (grey, blue) on Jordan models today.
THIS IS WHAT THE JORDAN 6 LOOKS LIKE
The new Jordan 6 Georgetown continues the theme with the acclaimed color blocking. The upper comes in “Magnet” or gray and the details in “College Navy” or dark blue. The upper is made entirely of suede. The usual loop on the laces and the Jumpman logo are dark blue, as are parts of the sole. The design is rounded off with light blue, but transparent, accents on the sole. Nice shoe.
