We all remember the release of the first New Balance 2002R Protection Pack very clearly. We thought the collection was pretty nice right from the start, but were then surprised by the high demand. New Balance is currently very popular and they know exactly why they are launching another New Balance Protection Pack. All information about the new colourways can be found here in the article.
The first three colourways were pretty nice. The classic gray 2002R was slightly preferred to the white and black. Understandable, everyone wants all gray New Balance – at least in our bubble. New Balance has picked brighter colors for the new pack. The first two are dark blue and olive. But now there are also pictures of white boats that look like Maison Margiela helped with the design and then there are orange, pink and purple. We're excited to see if they all turn out the same way.

The overlay comes with a nylon base and a mix of jagged suede overlays, just like the first pack. We no longer find the red branding on the heel in the new pictures. The outsole still looks used. Overall, all colourways are really impressive. We celebrate the white and the olive the most.
Unfortunately, we can't say exactly when the second New Balance Protection Pack will be released. We hope to get official information in the next few weeks. Especially for the other four colourways.
