Stussy x Nike Air Max Penny 5 - first look

That's not uncommon, of course, but we're always happy when the two brands tinker with designs. Here and there we get models from the cooperation that we would not have thought of before. A picture and some reports on the Penny 5 have been circulating for a few days. For all those who don't know what to do with the shoe at first: The Nike Air Max Penny is Penny Hardaway's signature shoe. He was one of the most popular players in the NBA in the 1990s. In 1995, he released the first shoe with Nike to bear his name, the Nike Air Max Penny 1. To this day, it's definitely the most sought-after shoe of all the models. That's why the community in the comment columns is a little disappointed that a Penny 5 is to come now. It only came out on the court after his active career. The choice probably fell on the model because next year is the 10th anniversary. However, rumors are also piling up that the Penny 1 will also be coming next year. We stay tuned.

If you believe the first picture, the Penny 5 should appear in a completely white upper - with a Foamposite overlay. The colourway is based on the colors of Orlando Magic. That's why the sole is blue and black, as are the rest of the details. The iconic "1Cent" branding is on the tongue. The sole is of course equipped with an Air Bubble and Zoom Air. We don't find any Stüssy logos there yet. We'll have to wait and see if the Schu comes at all.
