Adidas and Sean Wotherspoon are back on everyone's lips with a new design. Actually not only with a new design, no, also with its own silhouette. And of course it comes with Wotherspoon's favorite material: corduroy. First pictures of the Sean Wotherspoon x Disney Superturf Adventure can be found here in the post.
For the third, environmentally friendly sneaker collaboration with adidas, Sean Wotherspoon also got Disney on board. Because the Superturf Adventure is inspired by Jiminy Cricket. For those who don't know this character: the Dude plays a role in “The Adventures of Pinocchio”.
Some time ago, Sean shared the first pictures on his Instagram page with the caption: “Cord is back, I'm thrilled!” . So do we, because if Wotherspoon can do anything, it's designing sneakers made of corduroy.
The Superturf Adventure is colourful. The upper definitely cannot be reduced to one color. Purple, orange, blue, yellow, green, spotted, striped. Just like we are used to from him. The colourway is wild, but very well implemented and the materials look super classy. The material mix convinces us: recycled polyester, vegan leather, corduroy, cork insole. There is a detachable, small pocket made of corduroy and waterproof zipper on the laces. Jiminy Cricket hides under the pocket, under another zipper on the tongue. The outdoor-inspired silhouette comes with Adiprene+ cushioning and outsole like the Response Hoverturf.
It is currently even rumored that the new model will come in several colors. It is assumed that the Sean Wotherspoon x Disney Superturf Adventure will first be released in November and will cost around 160 euros. Supposedly, more models will appear in December. Let's just wait. As always, you can find all information about the release in our release calendar or in our free app via push notification. You don't miss anything here.
