Clot has teamed up with Nike on a new Air Max 1. There is another colourway to the previous two Kiss of Death designs. The CLOT x Air Max 1 Solar Red was recently teased on Instagram and now there are official pictures that we took a closer look at.
The probably third and last colourway of the Clot trilogy in Solar Red is inspired by Kanye West. He wore such an Air Max 1 on his tour in Hong Kong in 2006. At that time there were only a handful of pairs. This led to many freaks trying to replicate the shoe with NIKEiD. Clot is now putting an end to the whole thing and releasing the shoe himself.

With a few changes, the colourway is finally available to a wider audience. The reflective red heel with golden embroidery is new. A nod to CLOT's Chinese heritage. The new “Solar Red” also picks up on the influences of the foot reflex zones and pressure points of previous KOD designs. The insole is a little different with a black and white footprint. The upper of the Air Max is neon pink and silver grey. Clot branding is stamped into the suede on the outside.
The CLOT x Air Max 1 Solar Red rounds off the trilogy perfectly. The release is supposed to take place on July 20th. Apparently only exclusively in JUICE stores worldwide, online and at special pop-ups. Check out our release calendar or our free app for final information.
