The brand mentioned here is a sporting goods manufacturer based in Boston, USA. The American brand started out as a producer of orthopaedic insoles before launching its first running shoe, the Trackster, in 1960. In addition to general releases, New Balance also produces limited edition products in its production facilities in Flimby and Boston. These run under the label "Made In", are slightly more expensive and only available at selected retailers. The Bostonians have a top-class archive with models such as the 990, 550 and 1500.
