Have you always wanted to know what Air Force 1 actually means exactly?

The Air Force 1 is THE basketball shoe from Nike. The white AF 1 in white is probably the most important Air Force 1. The model is the first basketball shoe that came with Air technology. It was developed back then by Bruce Kilgore, who also developed the Jordan II and Sock Racer, among others.

Although the Nike Air Force 1 first appeared in 1982, it only became really popular two years later, which is why the brand with the Swoosh decided on a second production wave and the continuation of the classic.

Fun fact: Air Force 1s from Nike are called "Uptowns" in New York because they were particularly popular in Harlem, which is located uptown.
