It's impossible to feature all Air models here, but the most important ones shouldn't be missing. One of the most significant is the Air Force 1, which is the first basketball model to come with Air technology. It was designed by Bruce Kilgore, who also developed the Jordan II and Sock Racer, among other things.
Although the Nike Air Force I first appeared in 1982, it didn't really become popular until two years later, which is why the brand with the Swoosh decided on a second wave of production and the continuation of the classic.
Fun fact: Nike's Air Force I's are called “Uptowns” in New York because they were particularly popular in Harlem, which is Uptown.
