Designed by New Balance's Tokyo Design Studio, the Stone Island FuelCell RC Elite V2 embodies the heritage of design-driven innovation and no-frills quality that unites both brands. The functional features of the Stone Island x TDS FuelCell RC Elite are combined with dynamic FuelCell cushioning, a full-length carbon fiber panel, and the breathable knit upper with serrated synthetic inserts inspired by the 574.

The combination of classic and futuristic elements gives the impression that the modern shape of the FuelCell RC Elite v2 was created from a classic predecessor. The second version of the conceptual high-performance silhouette is available in two colorways that combine bold color accents with a contrasting traditional color palette. The one Stone Island New Balance sneaker features a toxic green knit upper layered with a burgundy hue that comes from the classic 574 colorway. The second colorway relies on a bright red knit upper covered in New Balance's legendary grey hue.
