In contrast to the predecessor Disrupt Dunk, which was launched at the end of 2020, the latest interpretation of the Dunk does without the chunky sole and instead presents itself in a slimmer design. The upper is much more eye-catching because of layered panels, double profile, contrasting stitching and a reinforced heel on the Dunk.
The insoles included with the pair confirm that the predominantly brown Dunks are part of Nike's “Move to Zero” initiative. With this, the shoes are made of materials that consist of at least 20% recycled material.
