Nike Calm Slide Sesame

A few days ago Nike published the first pictures of a slide. Namely from the Nike Calm Slide. So far we've seen five colourways: Sesame, Geode Teal, Black, Jade Ice and Sail. Of course we create a release for each colorway and link it for you. This release is about the Nike Calm Slide Sesame.

Slip-ons on foam have been trending for the past few years, especially in 2022. Demand has really gone through the roof. Above all, of course, because of the adidas Yeezy Slides by Kanye. But Crocs are also becoming increasingly popular. Led by the Salehe Bembury collab. Since Kanye is no longer with adidas and the three stripes now have to see how their slides continue, other brands have found it easier to gain a foothold. Nike picked the best time to launch their slides. And maybe Nike can fill the big gap for the summer and the Yeezy Slides are passé.

While there's no official information yet, it's obvious that the slides come with a foam base and are insanely similar to the Yeezy's. The insole is ribbed and thus ensures a good grip. The outsole is reminiscent of the Air Force 1. Otherwise, the design is very minimalistic. Only a small Swoosh can be seen on the side of the bracket. There are likely to be three unisex pairs, one for men and one for women.

When can you buy the Slides?

The Nike Calm Slide should not come until autumn 2023. Unfortunately, we don't know yet whether all colourways will come at the same time. As soon as we have a final date, we'll let you know! If you don't want to miss the release, here's a tip:
