Nike's next big Air Max is coming soon, introducing an all-new bulbous Air Max unit that sits beneath a Flyknit upper. It's the Nike Air Max Scorpion silhouette, and while the combination of a Flyknit upper and zonal Air Max units isn't new, the Scorpion offers unmatched height. The Air Max Scorpion, which was already presented in two colorways, now appears in the standard look of triple black.

The entirety of the Flyknit upper is slightly contrasted by the Swoosh logo, whose silhouette runs through the upper. The laces, lace loops and fenders are finished in black, while the Scorpion outsole boasts a smoky translucent sole. With a wide base and the cushioning of the Air unit, the Triple Black creates a secure footing and is therefore similar to the Air Max 720.
