The New Balance Rainier GTX is an updated version of the iconic hiking shoe from 1982, last released in 2016. The comeback after six years was celebrated in October 2022. Of course also with a collaboration with Aimé Leon Dore. The two colorways we're talking about today are special because they come with Gore-Tex technology. Gore-Tex fabric provides waterproof protection to protect feet from wind, rain and water. In addition, it is of course breathable. The Vibram outsole provides excellent grip on the hiking trails or during everyday outdoor leisure activities.
